The Presiosa beads...there are not enough words to tell about it! I love the seed beads selection - starting from round ones, then twins/superduos, riso, solo, rulas, bricks -(did I forget some?) all the two-holes are amazing! I love how Presiosa comes up with new ideas non stop. So great and exciting! I love leaves, daggers, pearls, the montees are my special love, bicones would be the next...wow...I just love them all! Wouldn't stay without a day! If I'd win, there will be one the most happiest person in the beading world..
As soo as I make friends with my camera, I'll start posting the pictures with my handwork..

Here I Am
For the start, I wanted to tell a little about the place I live in.
It is Seattle area, and the name is Bellevue. It is the most beautiful and picturesque city in the whole area, quiet and not too crowded, believe me - just over the Lake Washington from downtown of Seattle. Lots of water and trees. Washington is a very green state what I really find enjoyable.
From my home, it's about 2 hours of driving to state Oregon, and you are face to face with Pacific ocean with all its scenic panoramic views and amazing sounds, smell, and cool powerful water. Walking on a beach no matter if it summer or winter time, sand or gravel, brings a stunning sensation each time you are there.
It's also about 2 hours driving to Vancouver, Canada in different direction with all it's offerings. My family likes basking in Harrison Hot Springs whenever we can get there. There are also famous skiing places for winter entertainment and lots of scenic places to feast your eyes on.
If you choose another direction, it's about 30 minutes driving time to the mountains. You can find rare flowers there in Spring. Have you ever seen the edelweiss? Even if we do not have much snow in winter time, it's mostly rainy, we still enjoy cross-country or mountain skiing - whichever you like most, or both of them in a turn. Ad there is lots and lots of snow.
If you go through the mountains (did I mention that we have spectacular view of Mount Rainier almost from any part of the city?), in about 3 hours of driving, there is a unique magical lake Chelan where sun is shining almost all 365 days a year. Water is cool and crystal clear. You can see clouds all around the lake, but never over it. Couple days there. and you look like you just returned from Hawaii! You can see through to the bottom of the lake (and all those lazy, sleepy fish on the bottom) everywhere despite the fact that this lake is very deep. It's surrounded by mountains, and gardeners there grow the tastiest sweetest tomatoes I have ever ate in USA. Fruit grown there are as sweet as they are in tropical areas. Most of Washington apples also come from this place. It's so amazing - there is no much dirt around, mostly rocks, but there are lots and lots of fruit gardens. On that rocky ground, gardeners grow peaches, cherry, pears, plums, apples of course, and grapes. They also manage to use those farm engines there. Gardens, gardens, and gardens are everywhere..
Little closer in the mountains, we have spectacular waterfall named Snoqualmie Falls. It is so different each time to see, never the same. It's a nice enjoyable walk down right to the bottom of it, but the way back is little challenging, at list for me it is.
Well, I guess, I can go on and on - the main idea of all my post here today is that I love the place where I live so much! Dreamy place that gives you a chance to experience almost all the weather's peculiar properties depending of what you want at the moment.
I also love seeing other places, and I do love tropical vacations as much, but I am happy when we are returning home after that's not a case for most people.
Life is hard for each and everyone of us, so I just wanted to share some happiness I possess, living here. Do you love the place where you live?
I am fascinated by ocean or lake water, especially when it's still and quiet under the sun, changing color when sun changes position. There is a lot of water surrounding my area that inspired me to create a necklace with moonstone, which inner sparkle reminds me of those color changing moments. It's my very first posting, and I hope to be able to place my picture here correctly. If it does not work, I will try again later.
This is my "Water Splash" necklace, and it is my very first creation as is this blog posting.
